New Evening Class Start Date: August 26, 2024 (Monday) This is a two evening class a week for 38 weeks (Monday and Tuesday) Monday 6:00pm – 9:00pm (Lecture) Tuesday 6:00pm – 9:00pm (Practicum)
The Academy of Alternative Healing Arts, located in Grandville, Michigan, is an alternative health education program for aspiring massage therapists and all who are interested in holistic healing methods.
Our mission is to provide affordable, alternative health education and holistic health treatments. We want to do our part in creating a better, healthier community by promoting alternative healing.
Our classes include massage therapy training (Healing massage program) and Holistic Health Counseling program. After completing our State of Michigan licensed, 754 hours (38 week) massage program, you will be able to take the state massage board exam and become a state licensed massage therapist.

The Academy of Alternative Healing Arts offers an exceptional acupressure and massage therapy program. Founder, Raymond Wan, has designed a program that is highly reputable. Students who complete this program feel confident, encouraged, and inspired as they begin their careers. As a licensed massage therapist, you’re going to be caring for individuals and healing with your own hands. Clinic Class
After 4 – 6 weeks of basic training, students will be starting their clinical class at our student massage clinic for next 34 weeks (10 hours a week).
In this clinical class, students will be practicing on real clients the massage techniques they have learned in class and will learn new clinical skills beyond the classroom setting.
Under supervision from an experienced licensed massage therapist, students will be working with the general public. They will be using their newly learned skills such as:
- Swedish Massage
- Healing Massage
- Hot Stone Massage
- Therapeutic Massage
- Sports Massage
- Prenatal Massage
- Geriatric Massage
- Reflexology
- Lymphatic Drainage Techniques
- Cupping
- Chair Massage
- Sugar Foot Scrub
- Trigger Point
- And much more to practice on real clients with real musculoskeletal issues!
